SEO/SEM Journal: Splunk Launches Splunk Powered Program
Solidcore First to Be Splunk Powered

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Splunk (http://www.splunk.com/), creators of the first search software for fast moving IT data, today announced the launch of its OEM partnership program, Splunk Powered. Software companies, data center device and appliance vendors, and hosted service providers can now integrate advanced troubleshooting technology and make it possible for their customers to diagnose and resolve issues faster. More than 12,000 system administrators, developers, and help desk professionals have downloaded Splunk since its launch in August.

Running an effective data center requires integrating and managing many products and technologies which can be extremely challenging. With Splunk Powered, OEM partners and their customers can troubleshoot problems and investigate issues as they happen with their own products and across other vendor's technologies. Splunk Powered enables partners to:

-- Easily and quickly add advanced, branded, real-time troubleshooting. -- Increase customer satisfaction by reducing mean time to repair (MTTR). -- Reduce costs by increasing the efficiency of support, field operations, and consulting teams. -- Provide improved management and extend troubleshooting capabilities beyond single products and technologies to multi-vendor installations.

Solidcore, the leading provider of IT control solutions, is the first to be Splunk Powered. Through this partnership, Solidcore plans to integrate Splunk technology into the company's S3 Control line of products that address a variety of business problems including system configuration control, compliance sustainability, end-point security, critical infrastructure protection, legacy OS remediation, and embedded OS protection.

"Splunk Powered is a natural addition to our S3 Control product line," said Rosen Sharma, President and CEO at Solidcore. "With Splunk Professional added to our products, customers will be better able to access definitive change data quickly, efficiently and accurately. This provides quicker problem resolution and forensics for our customers."

A key enabling technology for Solidcore's products is the capture of real- time and comprehensive change information in order to provide visibility, accountability and selective enforcement of change processes. Splunk Professional will provide an additional interface into this rich data set, providing users with powerful search capabilities. This will assist Solidcore customers in more efficient forensics and root cause analysis.

"We are excited about the opportunity to help simplify the troubleshooting process across the datacenter as more technology providers become Splunk Powered," said Stan Chin, Chief Partner Splunker. "We are thrilled to team with Solidcore as our first step."
